On November 8, 2008 San Pedro's sister city Ischia presented us with the Symbol of Multiculturalism, an art piece created by Francesco Perilli. It depicts a man in a globe with doves flying around it. However, it was deemed too conroversial because he was "nekid" and the man was kept locked away and hidden from public view. After two years he finally was put on display for all to see.
Very interesting! I'll have to go by and see it in person.
